Environmental Impact

Plastic waste is not effectively managed.

The global plastic waste crisis is a growing environmental challenge with profound consequences. Each year, millions of tons of plastic waste end up in landfills and oceans, causing irreversible harm to ecosystems, wildlife, and human health. Conventional recycling methods are often inefficient, and unable to process the vast amounts of plastic waste generated. Moreover, many plastics are difficult to recycle through traditional mechanical means, leading to increased accumulation in our environment.

Our Approach

NAKA’s advanced recycling technology will be pivotal in addressing the global plastic waste crisis, offering a sustainable solution that diverges from traditional recycling methods. By accommodating a wide range of plastic types, including traditionally non-recyclable ones, it efficiently processes plastic waste streams, reducing landfill and ocean-bound plastics. Moreover, it focuses on resource recovery by converting plastics into high-quality feedstocks applicable across industries, thus minimizing waste generation and resource depletion.

Environmentally sustainable at its core, advanced recycling diminishes the need for virgin plastic production, curbing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing the overall environmental footprint. Its commitment to diverting plastic waste from landfills, incineration, and the natural environment safeguards ecosystems and public health. Our systems promote innovation, economic viability, and the circular economy where plastics are continuously repurposed, reused, and recycled effectively. In conclusion, advanced recycling transforms plastic waste into valuable resources, mitigates environmental harm, and offers a sustainable alternative to conventional recycling practices, thus contributing to a more sustainable and responsible approach to plastic waste management.

Areas of Focus

01

02

Sustainability

Collaborating with companies, governments and environmental organizations, we are dedicated to reducing the volume of plastic waste destined for oceans, rivers, waterways, landfills, and beyond. Our efforts encompass on-site processing of plastics collected by partner groups and collaborations with governments and companies to redirect plastic waste streams away from becoming pollution sources.

Outreach

NAKA aims to deploy portable Plastic-to-Oil (PTO) units in disaster-stricken areas worldwide. These modular units, shipped conveniently in containers, will utilize plastics collected during cleanup operations to provide temporary power for local communities. This power source can be employed for various purposes, from portable bathroom facilities with hot showers to electricity for lighting, equipment, and water filtration.

03

Education

We are developing a comprehensive educational program, starting at the elementary school level, to inform the public about innovative upcycling and plastic-to-oil conversion processes. Additionally, NAKA will actively engage in educating and facilitating joint ventures with developing countries. This involves demonstrating how these nations can generate domestic energy from their plastic waste, leading to job creation, environmental cleanup, and a mutually beneficial outcome

04

Job Creation

NAKA is committed to making a sustainable and positive impact on the environment by remediating plastic waste in various countries and cities. Simultaneously, we aim to create "green collar" jobs, contributing to poverty reduction in the regions where our systems are implemented.
